Scabies

	The linear burrow containing the mite which causes scabies is diagnostic of the condition.
	The condition is intensely itchy like lichen planus but it is worse at night, infectious and consists predominantly of excoriated papules.
	The thenar eminences, wrists and palms are frequently chosen as sites for the acasus to burrow and lay her eggs.
