Superficial spreading malignant melanoma
The lesion is very sharply defined but has a scalloped indented margin quite different from that of a seborrhoeic wart.
There are considerable variations in pigment, although the lesion is generally black rather than the yellow brown of a seborrhoeic wart.
The surface is not fissured or warty either.
